I like the model new GUI on the 3800. There are two main tabs (Basic and Advanced). When comparing immediately to the WNDR37xx, the new GUI is more intuitive.

Update Oct 03, 2011: While I truly have now not encountered any issues, there are complaints in regards to the 1.0.0.18 firmware shedding wi-fi connections in 2.4GHz 802.11n mode and with DNS considerations that require reboots of the router.
